Student Led Conference

On Tuesday the 2nd of December Gold House had our student led conferences. I went at 6.30 i arrived with my mum. When we got there i saw Matua and i introduced my mum to him. I then took my mum and showed her around the room. I took her and showed her the pictures around the room

Then i took my mum to mine and my friends Computer. I showed her my samba server.Then I talked to her about Knowledge Net and how we don't use it that much any more. I then showed her my blogger page she read some of my recount.

After that i talked to mum about electives i showed her some of the work that some people in music produced she fought it was awsome. I then talked to my mum about the elective i am in Dance i told her that i was really enjoying it and that we have to present the dance we made up in frount of the school.

Then Matua came and talked to me and my mum he said that i have been working really well but i have been talking a bit when i am doing my work and that we caught me and my friend out the other week when we were laughing and talking on the mat and we he asked what we had done, we had'nt done any thing.

I then just showed my mum a little bit more aroud class. And then mum said come its time to go i said bye to one of my friends but Matua was talking so i just left then when we were siting in the car mum said that she was really proud of me. And that she was'nt expecting that i would of done that much work because when i get home from school and she ask's what i did today i usally say nothing but still she was proud of me.

Aquatic centre

On Friday 21.11.08 Gold house went to the Aquatic centre because we won the raffle for bringing in the most groceries. In the morning i arrived with my two friends as we were puling into the aquatic centre we saw some of our others mates. Then as we were siting down waiting for the other teachers we saw one of our friends walk in to school crying, we asked whats wrong and she asked if my other friends could go away because she just wanted to tell me.

It turned out she was just having problems at home anyway after that we entered the pools we walked over to the pool out side. We then sloped on some sunblock and went and got changed. We then put our bags on the steps and ran into the pool some of the boys and girls ran to the rocket we splashed around for and bit we then decided to get out and go for walk.

When we got back we had morning and talked for while then it got to hot so we jumped back into pool then we played tag it was pretty fun but then it got old. Then some of the boys ran to the rocket then me and my mates went to the playground our hair dried up and we looked like bush Maori's so we went to the pool and dipped our heads in the water.

We went back the playground and we sat by a drain on the grass my mate was playing with her bikini top and all of a sudden we heard OH MY GOD my strap just broke. It was real funny but anyways we walked her to the toilets one of my mates stayed with her and me and another friend ran to get her another top for her as we were running to her she was walking towards us with her towel around her. She put her singlet on and swam in that for the rest of the day.

Anyways we got changed out of our togs and when we walked into the changing rooms and a girl was hiding from some boys cause they were going to throw her into the pool as we leavt the changing rooms she ran out and they were runing after her. She feel over it was so sad but she sucked it up and dealed with it we then all left when i got home i sat on the couch watching t.v and fel asleep.

A personal & Factual Recount

A Personal Recount is when you are involved in an event. The writer was personally involved.A Factual Recount is an event that you were n0t involved with, you may have gotten it from a friend, or it might have been a police report. So the difference between a Factual Recount and a Personal Recount is that a personal recount was an event you were involved with and a factual is from something like the news paper.

The Health Expo

Today at 11.45 we went to the gym at our school we went there for the Health expo there were heaps tents and canapes with intersting things about the body the first thing that me and Tegan went to was the protein area were there was heaps of information about staying fit and healthy there we had to do a quiz and me Tegan and Daniel won a rist band after that we met up with Tayla and we went to the recycle tent is was very interesting we learnt how long it took for rubish to burn out when it is at the dump and it was WOW then we decided to go into the Positive Puberty tent it was very interesting we got a go-gurt and a jelly in a cup we learnt to stay clean while going through puberty we then went over to the well being area and me, Tayla, Elijah and Art

My Holiday

On friday the 10th of October, i was woken up by my friend yelling

yay its finally here we are going to Nelosn today. She then told me to get out of bed but i struggled because we had stayed up late the night before

but i finally got out of bed. I then hoped in the shower then my friend did and we got dressed it was now 10:00am and we had breakfeast then hoped in the car.

My mum then drove us down to Wellington where we were hoping on a fairy down to Pickton. When we arrived at Picton we had to catch a bus to Harbour side but knowing us we hoped on the Harbour bay bus. When we found out we were in the wrong place we were scared but cracking up at the same time. My friend then texted her aunty to come pick us up because we went down to Nelson to stay with her Aunty.

She came strait to get us then she Droped us off at the movies. We watched Wild Child it was a funny movie. As we were leaving the Movies my friend saw some her old friends. They then took to lunch we had Mc Donalds. Then we alked back to my friends aunty's house.

Then we had dinner and sat on the couch watched t.v and just crashed.

The next morning we woke up had breakfeast then walked down to the beach.

we were about to go for a swim but before we did we played in the sand and we were just muking around and being silly.

Then we jumped into the water and had a long swim after a while we got sick of swimming and decided to go shoping the first shop we went to was Surf'sbut the owners of the shop growed us because we were being silly and trying on all the clothes. we then went to other shops but there was nothing much there that we liked so we decided to go get some movies we got Norbit and Blonde ambition.

Norbit was crack up as usawell me and my friend always get Norbit

but Blone ambition was pretty boring but we just keep watching Norbit like all night.

The next day we packed our bags and we were on our way home when we got back to Rotorua. My friend went to her house and i went back to mine

i had a shower then i crashed on my bed.
